Automatic Processing Of Web Orders

Software Outline: Spedikat is designed for the small to medium sized office equipment dealer who wants to automate the matching of invoice items between Spicers and Sage Line 50. It can also be used in conjunction with Statkat to compare purchase orders. The software receives text based web orders and automatically raises these as invoices in an office stationery accounting system without having to rekey them. This saves a, considerable amount in time and effort by automating this process.

 
   
Sophisticated Quotations System

Software Outline: The stationery dealer market became increasingly computerized from the 1980's onwards. One reason for this growth was due to the numbers of products that were available from 3 main competing wholesalers and others. As a consequence today there are around 50 thousand lines of products, 30% of which are duplicates from each wholesaler holding different prices. Prior to Incost the dealer would provide a quotation either from their stationery accounting system or manually via Word or Excel. Prices and products are looked up in wholesaler catalogues and entered manually onto a quotation sheet and sent to the client.

 
   
Surveyor Business Control System

Software Outline: This software holds client addresses, self generated reference numbers and the dates for survey estimates, survey reports, invoices, final account, letter correspondence, warranty receipts and statements. The system also holds key template wording for this correspondence and generates these documents via Microsoft Word. Currently completed documents are not held in the system. Development is planned to expand the system to hold all these details required when interacting with the clients, as well as controlling invoicing materials and labour expenditure to ensure that these are less than the work quotation.

Software Outline: The software is a business networking site. It uses web technology to replace face to face meetings with on-line meeting rooms. These can either be established by topic or geographical area. Members use chat software to talk to one another. The idea is that this software can accessed via each business members PC, with each member contributing to the meeting room dialogue. The site is subscription based from credit card, which is managed by the software.
